Daylight Map Distribution v1.47 Released

May 29th, 2024

Version 1.47 of Daylight Map Distribution now available for download.

• Daylight planet files are composed of 100% OSM data, released under the terms of the Open Database License
• We’ve checked public OSM changes, fixed those that might be harmful to our users and imported those fixes into the distribution.
• We publish the data in PBF, OSC, and other common file formats universally supported by OSM tools and already used for planet-scale file distribution

• 7029 Features were fixed from relation check
• 1383 Features were fixed from nlp check
• 285 Features were fixed from various atlas checks

A large school building was updated to match imagery in Attica, Greece.

A river was repaired in Northwestern Federal District, Russia.

A large building polygon the size of a block was broken down into smaller individual components in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
