Daylight Map Distribution v1.33 Released

Version 1.33 of Daylight Map Distribution now available for download.

• Daylight planet files are composed of 100% OSM data, released under the terms of the Open Database License
• We’ve checked public OSM changes, fixed those that might be harmful to our users and imported those fixes into the distribution.
• We publish the data in PBF, OSC, and other common file formats universally supported by OSM tools and already used for planet-scale file distribution

New in v1.33: Daylight Map Distribution

• To more rapidly incorporate changes from OSM to Daylight, we are moving to a shorter cycle of release. More explanation of why and how the new cycle works, check out this post: Daylight Release Schedule Update
• The administrative boundaries OSC now uses a safer renumbering strategy. This should resolve the id collision with buildings seen in v1.32. A side effect of this is that relations are also renumbered and no longer match upstream OSM ids.

v1.33 Summary

Most Notable 3

• 847 features were fixed from relation check
• 1818 features were fixed from various atlas checks
• 553 features were fixed from nlp check

A set of building polygons overlapped each other and was adjusted in Gateway, Florida, United States.

A segment of the Etna river was repaired in Nordre Land, Innlandet, Norway.

A couple of egregiously digitized buildings with sharp angles were adjusted to match imagery in Al Zaqaziq, Eastern, Egypt.

Tag key combinations were updated to better represent the real world object in Karadolap Mahallesi, Istanbul, Turkey.
