Daylight Map Distribution v1.22 Released

Version 1.22 of Daylight Map Distribution now available for download.

• Daylight planet files are composed of 100% OSM data, released under the terms of the Open Database License
• We’ve checked public OSM changes, fixed those that might be harmful to our users and imported those fixes into the distribution.
• We publish the data in PBF, OSC, and other common file formats universally supported by OSM tools and already used for planet-scale file distribution

• Translations in Bulgarian language are added to ~3700 prominent map features, included in the Daylight planet PBF and preferred localization TSV file

Most Notable 5

• 259 features were fixed from relation check
• 58 features were fixed from coastline check
• 2,287 features were fixed from various atlas checks
• 150 features were fixed from nlp check
• 100 features were fixed from graffiti check

Highway vandalism was spotted and then promptly removed in Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine

A town/village square, Praça Estrela, in São Vicente, Cape Verde was fine tuned

A large river relation in Ontario, Canada was intersecting itself and was repaired

A very long stretch of State Route 29 contained a spelling error in Pennsylvania, United States

A member way of a building relation (r14931146) was improved in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan

A building area with a sharp angle was identified and smoothed out in Canary Islands, Spain

A sharp angled building was fine tuned to align with imagery in Tulcea, Romania

A sharp angle was smoothed out for a building area in Andalusia, Spain
